Which languages do you work in? I translate from English and Spanish into French – which is my native language.
What is your translation process? First of all, I ask a lot (and I mean a lot) of questions. As with my proofreading projects, I make sure I understand your vision so that I can convey it in my translation. Next, I do a lot (again a lot) of terminology and documentary research to fully grasp your field’s language. I usually draw up personal glossaries and style guides to maintain consistency and uniformity, which I can then provide to you on request. From there, I translate your content, which I will proofread (and proofread again) before delivering the final version to you.
What format will I receive the document in? We will clarify this point during our initial discussion but, generally speaking, I deliver the final document in the same format as the one I received.
What are your rates for translation? Each project is unique and requires its own level of technical expertise and time. Contact me to discuss your project and receive a customised quote!
Will my documents remain confidential? Of course. We can also sign a non-disclosure agreement in this regard.
