Training
There’s nothing like transcribed or subtitled training videos to help your customers get the most out of them!

I will respond within 24 hours, suggesting a phone or video conference call so we can go over your requirements together.
You will then receive a personalised quote. After considering the best way to meet your needs, I will provide you with a clear offer that meets your requirements and expectations.
Then, it is up to you: you can think it over and make a decision. If you have any further questions, you can contact me to clarify any doubts you may have.

Which languages do you work in? I subtitle videos from English and Spanish into French – which is my native language. I also subtitle and transcribe videos created in French.
What is your subtitling process? As with any other request, I first ask a lot (and I mean a lot) of questions to ensure that I understand your vision and expectations. The next steps depend on your project: will you provide me with a transcript, or is that part of your needs? Is it subtitling from French to French, or from another language to French? Do you have a specific style guide for formatting subtitles? As you can see, the initial questioning stage is essential to get the result you want! However, please note that for each project I undertake, I create the subtitle track by mapping out the audio of your content as accurately as possible, while adapting it to the specific space and time limitations. Before delivering the final work to you, I watch (and rewatch) the video to confirm everything is synchronised correctly.
Which subtitling software do you use? I mainly work with Aegisub and Subtitle Edit. However, my mission is to adapt to your needs, which is why I would be happy to learn how to use other tools if you ask me to (it will only satisfy my thirst for knowledge a little more!).
What format will I receive the document in? We will clarify this point during our initial discussion but, generally speaking, I will deliver the subtitles in SRT file format or send you the video directly with the subtitles embedded.
What are your rates for subtitling / transcription? Each project is unique and requires its own level of technical expertise and time. Contact me to discuss your project and receive a customised quote!
Will my documents remain confidential? Of course. We can also sign a non-disclosure agreement in this regard.
